Casual Son

Tim is a songwriter and singer based in Oxford. His songs have twice reached the semi-final stage of the UK songwriting competition. Songs are available as existing demo recordings, and are also offered for interpretation by other artists. As a singer, he has a repertoire of over 140 songs ranging from musical theatre to country, including rat pack, easy listening, pop and rock. These are also his creative influences. 

He has collaborated with and bounced ideas off fellow songwriter/producer Peter Hawkin for many years, and has also provided music to lyrics, and lyrics to music, for other writers. As well as singing he enjoys recording, playing guitar, bass, clarinet, tin whistle and tenor sax. His first love in music is songwriting, communicating emotion and stories through a song. 

When not creating music he enjoys travelling, science and technology, aviation, and films of which his favourites are Sliding Doors, and He Loves Me, He loves Me Not. He is fascinated by how lives can pivot on a moment and the decisions of others, whether we have met them or not.
